The Castillo Theatre's sixth annual benefit gala "Friends Old and New" took place at the All Stars Project performance and development center on 42nd Street on September 25, 2006. The gala recognized: Margo Grant of the Castillo Theatre box office; longtime supporters Paul Klein and Bill Rainford; Judith Malina and Hanon Reznikov of the Living Theatre; Alice Rydel, Castillo's membership coodinator; and Isaac H. Suggs, a volunteer producer with and supporter of Castillo. Gala attendees where encouraged to wear costume pieces and head gear as part of the creating the festivities.
