The Castillo Theatre's Fifth annual benefit gala, “Treat Your Actors Well,” was held at Sardi's Restaurant in New York City, Monday, September 26, 2005. The gala recognized two actors who have worked on the Castillo stage over many years — Emmitt H. Thrower and Kenneth Hughes. From its earliest years, Castillo has taken pride in establishing a creative environment where actors are supported to do their best work.
