Sue-Ellen Case
Ms. Case has been Professor and Chair of Critical Studies in the Theater Department at UCLA since 2001. In addition to numerous publications in feminist theory and theater studies, she has written several articles on butch femme relations, including "Towards a Butch-Femme Aesthetic," an early, pioneering article that explores the relationship between feminist critical theory and lesbian history. Professor Case collected and edited an anthology of lesbian plays, Split Britches: Lesbian Practice/Feminist Performance (Routledge, 1996), which won the 1996 Lambda Literary Award for Drama.
